I love Sanderson's writing style. He always seems to be having fun with his stories.

I'm sorry this was terrible. Deeply predictable and, unfortunately, not even funny. I'm not embarrased to say I skipped the epilogue

Another fun one by Sanderson!

There isn't anything mind blowing here. Dimensional travel with snarky humor and a ragamuffin main character. You know what to expect here, even if you aren't a Sanderson fan. I would say this falls in a more YA category rather than adult. And while there is nothing wrong with that, I do love YA at times, but I know a lot would rather know that ahead of time.

I think my big complaint with this one was the humor. It came across as super cheese a good portion of the time. It wasn't anything were it made me dislike the book as I read some of the lines, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't eye roll to myself a couple of times while reading. Humor in the written word can be incredibly difficult.

Overall this was a fun little romp through Medieval England. A different Medieval England than the one you and I know, but still similar. I loved the Handbook being shared throughout and I loved that the author of the handbook is a recurring character in Sanderson's non-Cosmere works. Fun stuff.
