I am reading the books in order and this one (3rd in the series) is the best so far Note also that I have gotten ahead of the Amazon series and it helps not being confused by the altered plot lines (which often differ significantly from the books). Very fast moving, following 4 simultaneous plot lines, then bringing them together toward the end. Continuing characters are filled in while some interesting continuing characters are introduced. All of the major characters from the first volume play an important role in this volume. Not recommended to jump to this one without having read the first two.
