I am over here NEEDING book two!!
This book was an amazing mix between the bachelor and Greek mythology.

12 girls enter the underworld and they find out they are to win the heart of the God of the Underworld.

This is such a great and refreshing taking on the Hades and Persephone story that I haven’t seen. I also like that their names are not Hades and Persephone so it doesn’t feel over done.

Nichole really had me drawn into the story and I was eating it up!! The spice is in the perfect spot but does not over take the plot that is in this book.

The Queen of the Underworld is back and ready for revenge

This is a Hades and Persephone fantasy retelling. Daphne is a fantastic character, but really I liked them all, Essos, Sybil, Cat and Dave are simply fantastic, then we have Finn, Galen, Helene and Xavier from the Underworld. The story was very intriguing and kept me reading it and finishing it before I even realized, now I need to find out what happens next. I didn't know what to expect from this one when I went in blind, and I was certainly surprised and entertained, now I need the next one please!

I have never been so irritated by a plot twist in my life. I get that the author was trying to establish a series, but the main character being painfully stupid is the only reason the plot twist occurred. It makes me feel like I wasted my time not like I want to read the next book.

The Bachelor meets the afterlife

This book had me in an absolute chokehold and I could not put it down. What starts out as an episode of The Bachelor quickly turns into a mystery that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

This book and the use of the “s” possessive in this book is utterly level 10 bonkers. The plot was….a plot for sure….we could’ve done this under 300 pages in my humble opinion. It oddly feels like it could’ve been from 2005 yet I suprised to see it was 2022???? (who wore a skirt with music notes on it and a lavender blouse in 2022??? i’m being nit picky but like come on)

This book was so enjoyable and entertaining until the main character decided to turn her brain off and make stupid decisions for zero reason.
