So honestly, the first 40 pages or so felt like pretty predictable slasher porn but it picked up after that. I definitely think I’ll enjoy Haunting Adeline more.

I understand that the book is meant to be dark and I understand the author with Sibby was probably going for a Harley Quinn vibe but it came off a little to much like 9 year old girl for me and felt very uncomfortable reading such explicit sex scenes from what felt like a young child's perspective
