Wow okay sooo this book is definitely something. It’s so awful the way she grew up and what her father would constantly do to her. People are sick and so is she ( no offense )

Super dark definitely not for everyone, but still a great read for me
3.5⭐️was this book good? yes. was it fuckin crazy and made me sick to my stomach? very much so.
A quick read. Not necessarily needed for Haunting Adeline I personally don't think. Sibby is quite the character.
Steam: JUST WOW creepy but hot and fucked up in so many ways (AGAIN read trigger warnings)
Trope: RH based on a traveling haunted house expedition where there is 1 women and 5 men (all psychopaths)
☻ ✰ ♡
I AM A WHORE FOR ANYTHING HALLOWEEN. I LOVE ANYTHING THAT HAS TO DO WITH A CIRCUS or in this case a traveling fair of haunted houses!
I LOVED THIS BOOK. Even though I shouldn't…
The first chapter I was shook but like WHY WAS IT HOT. You get fucked up in so many ways and I loved it. The heroine is “damaged” and one hundred percent a psychopath (Ms. H.D Carlton is really good at fucked up main characters!) The main heroine dresses up as a creepy ass doll and her henchmen are dressed up as clowns. THE VIBE YALL. OMG this was definitely the darkest book i have read ever and i loved every second of it. If you want all kinds of fucked this is it, I serve you this book on a silver platter. Oh and did i mention this girl kills demons as well….

I went back and forth between the ebook and the audio version of this book. I finished this book through the audio version.

This book provides more information about how Zade Meadows from the "Cat and Mouse" duet meets Sibel in the first book. It also provides more of Sibby's background and how she ended up at the Satan's Affair fair.

I immediately didn't like Sibby. Like, IMMEDIATELY. I had to suspend my disbelief about her actions at many points in this book. I'm not surprised at how things ended at all in the end, and I hate how it ended.
I don't like cliffhangers, and I've made that pretty obvious over the past year or so. I feel the same way about this book. I wanted more than what we got, but I suppose it was kept open-ended so H.D. could go back and add more later.
I should also say that I haven't read "Hunting Adeline", so I suppose there could also be more about Sibby in that book, and I've heard this is the case, but I still want more about what happened between this book and when she shows up in "Hunting Adeline". I suppose I should read that book next. lol
I do like the addition of Z in this book, but I missed Adeline, but that's just me. I'm glad this book is as short as it is because my attention span was shot. I struggled to get through the book, so I rated it the way I did.
I feel like this book had a lot of potential, but I feel like it fell short of my expectations. That's why I'm hesitating on recommending this book unless you're already a fan of the author. I know this book isn't everyone's cup of tea, and that's perfectly okay with me. It's not my cup of tea. Yikes!

Okay so particularly I'm not a big fan of Horror, haunted houses, but I just heard that you have to read this before Cat and mouse duet, so I just started reading it, and to my surprise, I liked it very much, her hiding in the walls, smelling people and saying they are monster or not, *you smell like roses, he smells rotten. But I liked Sibel, she was just saving everyone from rotten monsters. Even though it meant killing people ruthlessly or like a psycho........ :)
