Follow Me Darkly by Helen Hardt was quite a ride through the lives of the rich and famous. Sky Manning and Braden Black seem to be on opposite sides of the social spectrum. But Skye's job shooting "selfies" of an influencer brings her into his world a little awkwardly. And to be honest, he seems like a total jerk at first.
Braden is super full of himself. At first, this comes off badly. But as the story continues and Skye gets more and more under his skin, you start to see a different side. Not completely different, but enough to be really intrigued by what his story is.
There is so much tension between these two! It snaps off the page. It builds and builds, and then when things finally happen - well, it doesn't go as expected. Skye and Braden are going to have a lot to work through. Both are beyond stubborn, and the constant bickering was just enough to be amusing and not annoying.
There's more to their story. There has to be - and I can't wait to see where it goes.

I've read several of Helen Hardt books and always love them. The moment I saw the cover for this one I knew I needed to read it. This was a very well written, sexy, fast pace novel. The characters have fantastic chemistry that make this story a page turner. These is the suggestion of a secret from the past that keep you wanting to read in hopes to finding it out. This is a great start to a new series and I look forward to reading any addition to the series in the future.

No! I didn't want this one to end! Wow! I need a fan. This book was so delicious, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. This was my first time reading something from this author and now I have a whole list to add to my TBR. If you love dark romances this is a Must Read!

Follow Me Darkly was super sexy, fast-paced, and entertaining. It was a light and easy read and I was excited to find out what would happen next.
I was in the mood for insta-everything and that's exactly what I got. I liked getting to know Skye and loved all the details about Braden. This guy is a sexy mystery that definitely likes to be in control and I couldn’t wait to find out his secrets. There are hints along the way and by the end, I was guessing correctly what he was hiding. Together Skye and Braden are scorching hot! Mixed in with the heat are some lighter moments that I enjoyed as well.
This was not a taxing read even though there's some mild drama in play. It definitely brings the hotness and there are some light BDSM elements happening. I enjoyed the overall story and the exploration of what would happen next between Skye and Braden. The story itself is not super in-depth but it gave me just enough to keep me hooked and keep things moving along nicely. For me, this book was all about the entertainment value, it was just a really fun, sexy read that I got to lose myself in and enjoy. The story does end on a slight cliffhanger but in my opinion, it's very mild.
