This series has me reeling! I read these three books in 2 days. 2 days!!! I couldn’t get enough of this dark, sexy, seductively entrancing series.
I have to admit that I didn’t like Braden. We see a few things that were redeeming, but I still was on the fence. Skye didn’t judge, but she knew what she wanted. She needed confidence. I loved that he became her cheerleader. I can’t wait to see what’s next. I might have started out unsure, but now I want the next part of the story,
I’m not quite sure how I’ve never picked up a book by this author but that’s all about to change! Braden and Skye’s story was sexy and had me absolutely captivated from the start! Their story is HOT...so much so that I had this book in my hands any chance I got! This steamy read had me on the edge of my seat and wanting more with that cliffhanger!!
I am in love with this book. I love everything about it. Branden and Skye are the perfect mystery, but blend so well. I honestly read this in a day, I couldn't put it down!!
What a steamy read! This book follows Skye Manning, a budding photographer who is working as an assistant to a heiress who is a social media influencer. On the job, Skye meets Braden Black, a self-made billionaire who invites her to dinner the first time with the sole purpose of taking her to bed. Skye starts to fall for him, even though he tells her he isn't interested in a relationship.
This book gave me a lot of Fifty Shades vibes, but I thought it was much better written. Braden is dominant and controlling which I find a little bit annoying. I prefer stronger female characters but it fits in with the overall theme of the story. I found the plot and character development to be well done, despite all the steamy scenes; sometimes the focus is only on those parts and the rest of the story doesn't flow.
It is an exciting read and I am looking forward to the next book Follow Me Under coming out January 2021.

Helen Hardt never fails to amaze me with her work. This is the first book of her new series and I love it. She is the queen of cliffhangers. I loved seeing Skye grow in this book. She is a very likeable character. I can't wait to see how much more she grows throughout the series.
