I was actually given a gorgeous promotional box (see: instagram.com/p/CFuwXn_gQp_/?igshid=uuenl43sl8j5) when DARKLY released for this book by the publisher, Entangled, and I gave the box and book to a friend. Fast forward to the release of FOLLOW ME UNDER, and I received a second promo box, so I decided to give the first book a chance.

Skye is such an endearing lead, and she seems believable as a character, as a person. I don’t think we’d ever meet with her being the assistant to a huge influencer, but if we did, I’d buy her a drink....Wild Turkey, one ice cube

Skye has goals and know her current job is just a means to an end. Getting involved with a billionaire play boy who is also her bosses ex, seems like a splendid idea. Braden is impossible to resist, so Skye soon stops fighting, opening her world to all new pleasures. Braden cannot get enough of Skye and her controlling personality, he has to possess her and get her submission. As they both fight for control can they both start to learn to let go but soon Skye's boss and Braden's past come to light.....andddd cliff hanger!
I really enjoyed this read. Skye seems realistic and down to earth but has big goals and works hard. Braden has a big persona but that is not all there is to him, hot and mysterious. Addison, Skye's boss, is a typical snobby insta star but her past with Braden is so intriguing. Throw in a few other good secondary characters and you have a story that pulled me in. It has moments of laughter, darkness, but also irresistible sensuality. Excited for book 2!

I was lucky enough to receive an early copy of this story and I was not disappointed. This is my first time reading Helen Hardt and I am definitely looking forward to reading more.
Skye and Braden will take you on a steamy ride. I could not put this book down, I needed to know more with every page. This is a steamy read that will have you on edge wondering a lot of things. I can not wait for the next book because I have a lot questions that I need the answers too. This is a must read!!

Follow Me Darkly is the first book in the Follow Me Series. This is Braden Black’s & Skye Manning’s story. Skye works for Addison Ames who is a social media influencer as Addison’s PA and photographer. Braden is a "self-made" billionaire playboy who visits Addison’s office and meets Skye. He asks Skye out to dinner and then he is very direct and tells her that he wants to take her to bed.
Braden takes Skye down a dark path. Skye becomes attracted to the dark side of Braden.
I loved the chemistry that Skye and Braden have. It is super sexy and this book gets pretty hot! There is a mystery to solve because Follow Me Darkly ends on a cliffhanger. Not a jaw dropping cliffhanger but more of an anticipation type of cliffhanger.
This is my favorite genre to read. A little dark and a little of a BDSM theme. I loved this story and I can’t wait until January when the next book will hopefully be out! 4.5 Stars

Now if you love a great erotic read than this book is definitely what you need to read. I couldn't put this book down and I read it in one day. I love the way Braden Black seems to have this control with him yet he's so mysterious. Skye is so caught up in the thrills of finally having orgasms I don't think she really knows what she has gotten herself into. Okay I have said enough YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK NOW!!!!!

Reading this book, it was difficult not to compare it to another extremely popular billionaire romance with a BDSM theme. I think we all know which book I'm talking about. However, this book stood all on its, even though it turns out it didn't become one of my favorites as I hoped it would.
I found the book lacked quite a bit of depth and the characterizations were never fully developed. The characters fell into insta-lust nd I found the motivation behind Skye's wanting to be with Braden really awkward. I mean sure, chase all the orgasms you want but you gotta give me more than just that the sex was great. I never fully understood the reasoning behind Braden's obsession with Skye and them falling in love with each other. I suppose what I'm trying to say it wasn't fully developed for my liking.
With that said though, there was a bit of a cliffhanger and out of sheer curiosity, I will continue the series. I'm hoping the second book will focus more on character development and the story, not so much on what's going on between the sheets.

Loved it! Braden is fabulous and Skye is great. I’m going to enjoy this trilogy.
Skye Manning is just another girl next door that is searching for through her way in the world, when master of control Braden Black just so happens to cross her path. What is it about Skye that Braden cannot let go of. This series was extremely captivating for me. Braden dark side & secrets slowly come to light and make this series 5 stars for me. The first book started a little slow and I didn’t feel quite the emotional connection, which develops much more in the next 2 books
I COULD NOT PUT THIS DOWN! If anyone knows me I’m a huge fan of Helen Hardt but this book definitely is in my top favorite books from her! If you liked 50 shades of grey or the crossfire series from Sylvia Day this is the perfect book for you! Although it follows the mysterious billionaire wanted this girl like he’s never wanted anyone else story, kinda like the two series I named Hardt has made this story uniquely her own! Sometimes I feel like Hardt rushes the love story’s in her books. Not this one, it felt like the perfect time line!!! Perfection!!! There still some much to learn about Barden and Skye I can’t wait to start the next book!
