Interesting read.

The setting and the pace was quite different from the others. I guess after the mastermind being captured in the last one, this was more of a stop gap work. Nevertheless, the details are really good, and the storyline as well. Gives a different flavor to the main character.

A good read.

I <3 me some Alex Cross :D

This was good! The last few books were a little off, but this one mixed up the formula and got things back on track. It was nice to have a little more character development for Sampson.

Another great page turner by Patterson. This book trails the story of Alex and Sampson trying to solve a crime that ends up killing an old friend of John's. A trail of murders committed that framed Army soldiers and sent them to death row. The three killers are professional assasins and the Army is hiding information. In the mean time, Nana is not well and Alex is having to deal with possibly losing her. Good plot twists and some surprises in this book.

The book reads like a watered down introduction to the military. It's a good lull story following immediately after Violets are Blue. Kind of bored, but not really interested in getting invested yet.
