I've noticed a lot of people's criticisms of this series are about how corny the books are, which is true - they are super corny at times. AND I'M HERE FOR IT! Life's hard and I want to read about a bunch of sweetie pies dealing with their issues and finding love!

description

This is a perfect grumpy sunshine book with a grumpy hero who never takes things too far that he's not redeemable and a sweet sunshine golden retriever hero who gave me all the feels.

Loved it. This series is fantastic.

Everything for You is book #5 in the Bergman Brothers series. It is Oliver's story. Love that pro soccer is the backdrop of this story. This is very much influenced by Ted Lasso. Also author's philosophy of everyone deserves a love story and being able to create characters who have depth and real-lifeability like anxiety/chronic pain/neurodiversity/etc just puts her in a whole different category.

Watching Ted Lasso AFTER reading (and loving) this book and realizing that Gavin is Roy Kent was WILD!!

Anyway now I have to reread it

I liked Ollie and Gavin's story. Sometimes the Ted Lasso inspiration was a bit too heavy-handed, but it was a generally enjoyable read. It didn't hit quite as high as some of the others in the series, but didn't dip as low either (in general, I'm finding my enjoyment of the Bergman Brothers books to be quite inconsistent).

3.5 ⭐️ I loved this book. Black cat and golden retriever couple. Super cute. But the end was a little long and disappointing. At times the writing was also very redundant. But overall very cute.
