I don’t normally read books like this bc regular sports romances aren’t really my thing but I got this book in one of those wrapped mystery books at b&n and I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed this book. A very sweet, easy read

deeply boring, with far too much telling over showing. tried to hook me with things i would actually enjoy (rivals, fuck buddies, etc) and then didn’t bother to follow through. also very odd how much time was spent explaining the supporting cast—a reader who already knows them doesn’t need all of that, and a reader who picked this book up first (me) is simply not going to care.

read for sports month at trope book club

"Everything for You" by Chloe Liese is a delightful read that kept me hooked from start to finish. As someone on a romance novel streak featuring gay characters, this book stands out as a fun and engaging read. The charm of this novel lies in its well-drawn characters that you can't help but root for. I identified with both characters; their struggles and triumphs resonated with me personally. Liese's storytelling is effective and heartfelt, making this book a must-read for anyone who enjoys well-crafted romance novels.

Loved this book! There were so many cute, funny, little scenes. :) Loved how open and honest they were with one another once they got to know each other.

openly gay soccer mates...great flex from Ms. Liese in showcasing this trope in her Bergman brother series.
