Without revealing any spoilers, I am SO glad that volumes 4-5 of Kiiro Yumi's "Library Wars: Love & War" are waiting for me in my cubby at work! While I have previously noted that the series (notably the characters and their environment) is immersive, thus far volume 3 takes the cake in luring the reader in for more.

I continue to find myself relating to Kasahara, and Shibasaki, as the kind of literary kindred spirits women of all ages can look up to. The balance of their strengths and their moments of humility give them a depth that reassures this reader: you can be both and that is okay.

While there are bookworms who do not indulge in manga, I would recommend this series to any and all admirers of the literary arts. Most book worms would agree with the stance that Kasahara and her friends take when it comes to censorship barriers, and thus would most likely enjoy this series for

Teaching children how to fight better fights! Unfortunately the grownups are the ones who really needed to be taught how to fight like grownups...

The most exciting collections procedure of all time.

Also, teaching children how to do surveys and fight with presentations. I'm so proud!

This volume delved more deeply into censorship issues, which I feel strongly about, and things are starting to get more intense. There were also some cute bonus bits in the back :)

Bien que j'aime toujours autant les personnages, ce tome était un peu plus lent et ennuyeux à mon goût ><

Iko notices that the MBC is trying to censor reading material and it bothers 2 boys on the board. They react by setting off fireworks. So Iko decides to help the boys win the debate that books should not be censored for school aged children. She is featured in the newspaper during the debate which makes her feel insecure because her parents might see it.
