Standard story line of quiet moody guy with relationship issues, and the girl who desperately wants his love and not just sex. His background was more interesting than usual, but on the whole it wasn’t my vibe. Not Hoovers best but not her worst. An easy read nonetheless

why r colleen hoover books good but so so bad at the same time.
like her plots is good. i think all the messed up stuff really adds to the spice. but it's just too messed up sometimes yk. or maybe it's the character that rly throw me off. i just can't like the characters. read two colleen hoover book alr and no connection to the character but their story is definitely interesting.
like it makes me want to keep reading to know what happened.
but if I weren't listening to her book on audio, I prob won't even finish them tbh.

Definitely not my favourite coho book but i still really enjoyed it and it had my crying at 3am ofcc, i loved the ending but the “oh god rachel” part was so hyped up on tiktok i expected more tbh but still it was sad and i loved it
