So here's my first C.V. Hunt book, I don't remember how I discovered it, but it was free and self-published. It's also her debut and I read this before her release of her latest book, Hell's Waiting Room from Grindhouse Press. I do love me some bizarro, some post-apocalyptic, and some vampires. So of course, it's C.V. Hunt and it's vampires.

Endlessly is exactly what you see on the cover. Blood and eternity. One vampire and a human, they love each other endlessly. This supernatural world is filled with more than just vampires, so much that it felt all too real. I've never heard of or read a single YA fantasy writer that built a world with more than just vampires. So why is that such a great thing? Well, if vampires exist and hide in the human world, why can't trolls and fairies and witches and immortals live there too? Why not bring all of fantasy and all of it's wackiness into the real world? Why such a lack of creature diversity?

So basically the book is about a vampire dude who is bored and lonely, he wants some female flesh and it got him in trouble once, and he's about to do it again when he sees the aura of a beautiful incarnate. but that aura had a lot more than just what type of creature she was.

This book managed to avoid the "instalove" cliche that is so overdone in YA. This book also managed not to have a love triangle or it didn't last very long. It also didn't try too hard to be like "oh look at that bad ass vampire and his bad ass partner in action, they fight bad guys and make out real hard." Okay they do make out real hard, they can't get enough of each other, but then what would you expect of a romance vampire novel?

I will admit that I liked it, it's better than Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick, that's for sure. I loved the world that she built, it made me lift my eyebrows at its whole quirkiness. I know that most YA novelists want to write a fantasy creature that would cater to a teenage girl's hormones, the monsters in here aren't pretty. They do not sparkle or smell good. They are nasty and offend our human world. I liked that. They are also lonely and thirst for all of life's joys and pleasures, just like all of us naturally greedy and bored humans.

Endlessly is sort of a breathe of fresh air from the books that I have been reading lately. Although, I'm not sure if I will read the sequels since I am not a romance type. But I will look in to it and I'm reading C.V. Hunt's book, Hell's Waiting Room, and I am enjoying it, so you guys will see it soon on here.

Vampire Verloren lives a rather mundane existence, he feeds when necessary, works as a way to pass time, and hangs out with his fellow co-owners of his shop who are species but they have found a habitable existence. When Ashley walks into his store, he is floored. Her aura radiates and looks to be on the verge of a change, but us unsure of it. Verloren doesn't see a future with the woman he is quickly falling deeply for, he is Vampire and she is human, at least for now. He would crush her, but she is not scared of him nor is she backing down from what she feels for Verloren.

Uniquely creative story, unlike any vampire books I have read. Verloren is a monster, he looks like a goth albino and relishes his kills. You would think this would be a deterrent from liking his character, but it is not, he is just as vulnerable and he offers no excuses for what he is. Ashley is a fighter and turns out to be quite remarkable. I thought this was a breath of fresh air.

Endlessly by C.V. Hunt is a mesmerizing and gripping Paranormal story, with elements of Horror, Fantasy and Romance. It's a highly addictive and very enjoyable read. C.V. Hunt has a way of telling the story in a way that makes you hold your breath and turn the pages frantically, and there's simply no way you could put the book down once you've started reading!

Verloren is a vampire with Curt Cobain's looks, who runs a paranormal store in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He is no Twilight-kind-of-vampire, no sparkles and squirrel-eating habits. He's a bad-ass (forgive my language) kind of vampire, goth-looking, with albino-like skin and long hair. He is the kind of vampire that you should stay away from. He feeds on human blood, because that's the only thing that keeps him alive. And yes, he's very much alive, his heart is beating, his body is warm and even though it hurts his eyes a bit, he can walk in the sun without any serious consequences. Most importantly, though, he has a special ability to see people's auras, and so, just by looking at them, he can tell who they are and how they feel.

The only thing that Verloren is afraid of is death, because vampires have no soul, therefore they can not reincarnate and death brings a final end to their existence. And so Verloren is doing his best to avoid getting into trouble with Quatre, a committee of four people that makes decision for all the supernatural beings, including vampires and incarnates (shape shifters). But when a beautiful and mesmerizing girl walks into his store, Verloren's world is about to be turned up-side-down, as he learns that there are feelings more powerful than fear, feelings like love and lust.

Just when I thought there was nothing more in the Paranormal genre that could surprise me, along comes a book like Endlessly and, with a strong punch in the guts, makes me realize I was wrong.

This book was such a great read! I finished it in few hours, as I was literally glued to it (well, ok, not literally, but it sure felt like it!). It's a fast-paced, action-packed story, with just the perfect amount of horror and romance. There's not a single boring passage in this book, C.V. Hunt makes every word count. I like how the story is told from Verloren's perspective and I'm very thankful to C.V. for using first-person narrative, it makes the story flow seem very natural and the passages are easy and pleasant to read!

The lead characters have amazing chemistry between them, you can almost see the sparkles flying from the pages, but at the same time the romance part of the story is not overwhelming, which I very much appreciate. And then there's the mystery part, which was oh-so-wonderful! I thought the story was really good from the very beginning, but when I reached the part where we learn about Ashley's true form, I was left speechless, with my jaw on the floor. What an amazing idea this was, C.V!
Endlessly has this thing I like to call a "WOW factor", that's the thing that makes you nod in excitement while reading one passage after another, and go "wooow, that's so cool!". I definitely recommend it to all Paranormal fans! I can't wait for the sequel!

I hate writing bad reviews, and I almost always finish every book I begin, but I really don't feel like reading the rest of this book. I feel like there was way too much going on, with too many different supernaturals thrown in to the mix. There was more explaining than action, and the action was not that good. Verloren is not an easy character to like, and when you add that together with plain dialog, plain characters and the insanely unlikely number of various supernaturals that just happen to be coming into a store in Fort Wayne, Indiana, then this is not a book I would recommend to anyone.

What I liked about Endlessly:

1. It was a fast read and the plot flowed well.

2. The vampires didn’t sparkle!! And Verloren embraced his badassness!!

3. Dragons were involved and they were shapeshifters!!!!

What I disliked about Endlessly:

1. Ashley. I didn’t like her character at all but did feel sympathy when her full past was revealed.

2. The Quatre. That whole subplot line didn’t make sense to me.

3. Verloren. He rubbed me the wrong way. Too Emo.
