God Chris Carter can do no wrong and this is no exception
Gruesome concept, gruesome execution (ayy), super quick paced, exactly what I needed to get out of a slump
It's not often I really feel for a character in a crime/thriller but I did really connect to Molly and I love the way Hunter did as well.
Was a 2nd killer necessary? Strictly no but did I vibe with it anyway? Yes

This book was better and worse than the first one (The Crucifix Killer). Better, because I found the killer a lot more realistic, understood why he was killing, and even felt sorry for him. Worse, because I didn't like the whole ESP thing. Even though the beginning is a bit poorly written (I mean the part where the author quickly describes the characters and what happened in the previous book), the rest is pretty intense and I couldn't put it down and I finished it in less than a day.
