This is a very dark and gruesome book! The murders and the death scenes were horrific, especially the opening ones! It was a clever and twisty book. I love Robert, he's a dog with a bone. He is relentless, and he doesn't care who he upsets. The killer is one I don't ever want to have to meet. The sadistic way in which the people meet their demise, jeez! It makes you think. The fear is real.

Carter weaves such a tale, that you have no idea who or what is going on. Oh and how I loved Molly! The innocence of her despite everything she went through. I was happy I had no underlying sting in this book but I am eager to get back to Robert to find out what horrors he has next.

I have decided I'm not made for gore anymore. In one of the murder scenes, I had to pause and walk away, it was grim and graphic. But yet! Yes yet! I still wanted to read on. So I know I am not done with this by a long shot!

I listened to this again, and Thomas Judd is a magician with Chris' words. He brings every character to life, whether I wanted them to be or not! I don't want anyone else reading them to me, in fact, can he just read everything to me?

I felt for the police in this because the realistic reactions to the murder scenes are how I felt. I was there, watching it, watching Robert and Carlos piece things together. Then that final reveal was emotional and shocking. I was upset for one of the characters.

Hunter is a character who needs a break, I am still on edge from Book 1 and that ending and I have no idea how this will affect him if it comes to light. I feel like he needs to be protected. Plus can Molly come back next time?

Приличен трилър със серийни убийци. Подходящ за brainwashing. Четенето на тази книга не предполага никаква форма на мислене.

Such a good book

Graphic and full on but so addictive. I am getting sucked into Robert Hunters world more and more

Jezivo, ali u isto vreme genijalno.Sve preporuke za ovu knjigu. Mnogo bolja od prvog dela.

A solid 3.5 - I really like the plots of these books so far but I think the writing is very simplistic. I'm hoping the style develops with time and experience but it doesn't leave me racing to pick up the next one.
