My almost 3 year old daughter LOVES this book. It has been her favorite for quite some time. It's been read so many times in my home that my husband and I can both recite it from memory!
I do not like green eggs and ham, I do not like them, Sam I am. (who doesn't love dr seuss?)
I don’t really feel I can rate this book as it’s so short and simple! However it’s a great read for the target audience of 5-8 year olds because it’s repetitive and funny.
This the first book I ever learned to "read" (i.e. memorized and pretended to read.) It has provided the base for much of what I do and who I am today (I am an English teacher) and will forever stay in my heart. Thank you Mr. Geisel. Thank you.

There are a couple lessons that can be taken from this book.
1. Everyone is different, some people like green eggs and ham and some people, not so much. And that's fine everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and we should all respect that.
2. If you pester and annoy someone enough, if you harp on them about something and will not let it go, you will eventually get your way.
