I did not like the love interest one bit, but it's to the credit of how sweet and fun this book is that it didn't really impact my enjoyment of it.

Such a fun cottagecore escape of a book. My only little gripe was that I felt like I didn’t have a great sense of who the love interest was, just that the mc was obsessed with her. But in general, had a very nice time reading this, just what I needed right now.
