Ok… hated the miscommunication trope in the end. I found it entirely unlikely and childish. Still, a fun read with good characters, cool plot idea, and enough absurdity to keep it going.

Light and fluffy and fun - speaks to the fantasy of everyone who live in London of the lure of just moving out of the city to a quaint little town and living a different life.

I really enjoyed that this book was a little bit silly and aspirational but also captured some of the messiness of defining queer relationships. Without giving away too much, it doesn’t quite follow the typical romance plot structure, so even when you think you totally see it coming, it’s refreshingly surprising.

Trite and kind of a fantastical young adult. I can't really countenance a book whose whole plot is never saying what you feel to the person you need to say it to. I don't understand this young adult economy either, like they do not make enough money for the things they do.
