This was an awesome read that I absolutely could not put down. An amazing little stand-alone with books that are alive, monsters and magic? It’s a no-brainer that this is a must read.

10/10 would recommend to anyone interested in YA lit, fantasy, and a general good read.

“She now understood that the world wasn’t kind to young women, especially when they behaved in ways men didn’t like, and spoke truths that men weren’t ready to hear.”

For my first ever fantasy book  this was quite good!

I did take me a longer time than usual to get into the story, but that wasn't the book's fault and simply more to do with me learning the layout of a new genre.

I enjoyed the writing and loved the main characters a lot. The plot was also interesting and fun to follow. That ending makes me want to read the next book as well. That is always a good sign!

didn’t expect this to be a black butler spin-off

also i cannot believe the author passed on the chance to make the main ship a throuple (that would include the demon). i am DEEPLY disappointed
