I could have done with more story and fewer gags and weird-for-the-sake-of-weirdness. It would have helped if it spent some more time developing the heroes the characters dial into with the magic H-dial, but the variety of art styles and obvious homages to various other comics are enjoyable. The main characters are reasonably interesting and I was actually enjoying it by the end of the volume and mildly curious about what comes next.

I really didn’t like this book, the story is kind of stupid and Miguel, the Operator and as well as most of the characters are extremely annoying. But Summer’s a really cool character and the different art styles for the different heroes is amazing.
This didn't do it for me. I get a lot of people like the whimsicalness of this comic. But for me it was just a childish, all over the place mess. The changes in the art style bugged me in stead of giving a sense of nostalgia. And the heroes coming out of the heroverse were just too weird and nonsensical.
I will read volume 2 as well, because apparently I hate myself, but I can't not know how this ends.
I did like the main characters and the main art work, that's why it gets 2 stars.

I am devastated there isn't any more issues. This was a really fantastic read.
This was a fun book. But the art was stellar and outshines the story; great visual gags and shifts in style as the phone conjures up new heroes. An amazing visual feast, highly recommend
Not as wacky or as diverse as the last volume, but definitely an exercise in how many art styles you can imitate without getting legal departments involved.
Also the idea that there are MORE THAN ONE DIAL that gives you phenomenal cosmic (and most likely goofy) powers, but with other drawbacks makes this insane little adventure take different and fascinating turns.

Absolutely brilliant.
We've taken our Ben 10 concept and shot it into the stratosphere.
You want a Rob Liefeld-eque hero? BAM! YOU GOT IT!
You want a playful parody of Akira Toriyama? BAM! YOU GOT IT!
You want a bizarre visual madness character ala Neil Gaiman's Sandman? BAM! YOU GOT IT!
You want a furry version of Cathy the newspaper comic strip? BAM! YOU GOT IT for some weird reason...who wants to read CATHY of all things?
That's just scratching the top molecules of paint off of this shiny new beast of a story vehicle.
Also, since it's DC there's a lot of homage here, so if you're any kinda DC fan, this thing is rife with Easter Eggs, expies, proxies, and all sorts of goodies!

I read this purely for the fact that the MCs, Miguel and Summer, appear in Young Justice vol. 3 and possibly vol. 2. I had no idea what I was getting into. The art was intriguing but the story line didn't initially catch me when I learned that it was part of the Wonder Comics line up. But I am so, SO happy I gave this book a chance. I genuinely enjoyed Miguel and Summer's seemingly platonic chemistry and seeing how as we got to know them they grew as people. Additionally the brand new characters that quote "Have never been seen before, and might never be seen again..." that really hooked me. Seeing different art styles when theses characters were introduced made me feel like the creative team really, truly cared about the book they were creating. I def will check out vol. 2 when I have the chance and I hope to see more of this book and the character around in the future.
