"The Killing Joke" reigns supreme in the world of comic books for a darn good reason. It's savage, raw, and manages to make you feel sorry for The Joker, of all people.

I keep coming back to this comic over and over because it's just so darn well-written and illustrated. Every time I read it, I'm left feeling uneasy yet totally blown away.

Good grief, that's creepy.

Yay for Batgirl's origin story that I read about in her series. Now, where do I go look to find her story as The Oracle?

As far as Joker's backstory goes, that is really fascinating. A hell of a lot more innocent than I ever expect from a Capital V Villain.

Thus ends my library's collection of Batman comic volumes.

Dammit.
