Sarah Ready does not disappoint with “The Space Between”, a brilliant story about the how two soulmates from different backgrounds find their way to each other despite what life throws their way. Heartfelt and riveting, I couldn’t put this book down once I started it. The premise of the book isn’t a new one, and while I tend to find comfort in storylines I’ve read before, Ms. Ready adds enough twists and turns to make this story her own.

I was sucked into this book in the firsts few pages, when we jump right into a pivotal moment in Jace and Andi’s relationship. What I loved so much about this story is just how easy it was for me to love both Jace and Andi. Neither is perfect, neither makes the perfect decision all the time, but there wasn’t a point where one of them disappointed me. I loved Jace and his relationship with his family, in both good and bad times. I loved Andi and Reid, so much so that I found myself confused at times on who I wanted to end up with who.

Selfishly, the only thing I am disappointed in is how well Ms. Ready ties up this story at the end, because it means we probably won’t get a sequel. If if that’s the worst thing I can say about this book though, I think I will survive. This is the second book book I’ve read by Ms. Ready and the second book I’ve loved, so I think I’ve found another must read author to add to my list. A great beach read, a great romance that focuses more on the characters than the steam, I really can’t think of anything bad to say about this book, and I really hope it gets the attention it deserves.

**A big thank you to W.W. Crown, Independent Book Publishers Assoc. and NetGalley for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.**

This is the romance novel I didn't know I needed!
(Thank you so much NetGalley for the ARC.)

Oh my goodness, this book had me hooked from the first chapter to the very satisfying end. I loved the longevity of the story over the near-two decades of the characters' lives. And how the reader really got to know the characters, saw their development, and couldn't help but root for them.

In true Sarah Ready fashion, this one grabs you from the start and takes you on all the emotional ups & downs of a roller coaster! Just when you think you know what will happen next, you don’t and you’re glued to find out what will happen next. I’ve read several of her books, and this new one doesn’t disappoint!! It’s so good that you wish you could read it for the first time all over again. The audiobook was fabulous and the narrators did a great job of bringing this story to life. Thanks so much to Sarah Ready, the publisher, and NetGalley for the opportunity to review this arc audiobook!

A beautiful love story. It mainly focuses on what happens when two soulmates are separated by heartbreaking circumstances. How do they cope? Each in very different ways. And most importantly... will they ever get their happy ending? Andrea and Jace complement each other perfectly and bring out the best in each other. The more devasting it is when lose each other due to misunderstandings and betrayal from people close to them. I must admit, I wouldn't be as forgiving. A must-read for all the romantics out there.

I got this arc in exchange for an honest review.

"The Space Between" by Sarah Ready is an extraordinary love story that tugs at your heartstrings and leaves a lasting impact. From the moment Andrea and Jace cross paths in Central Park, their connection is undeniable. Ready weaves a tale of love, challenges, and the power of human connection that resonates long after you turn the final page.

The characters are beautifully crafted, each with their own vulnerabilities and complexities. Andrea, a product of privilege and familial expectations, finds solace and authenticity in Jace's arms. Jace, a talented musician from a different world, is drawn to Andrea's genuine nature. Their love feels genuine and transcendent, defying societal boundaries.

What sets "The Space Between" apart is the way it explores the struggles and obstacles that threaten their relationship. As life throws curveballs, testing their commitment, the characters face heartbreak, betrayal, and the painful reality of separation. Through it all, Ready skillfully delves into their emotions, making the reader feel their pain, joy, and longing.

The pacing is perfect, keeping you engrossed in the story from start to finish. The writing is evocative, painting vivid images of New York City and capturing the essence of each character's journey. The themes of redemption, found family, and the healing power of love are skillfully interwoven, leaving a lasting impact on the reader.

“No matter how long the road to get here, no matter the twists and turns, I’m yours.”

This book takes you on an emotional rollercoaster of love, heartbreak, and second chances. It’s like a warm hug that tugs at your heartstrings and makes you believe in the magic of love - my favourite kind of story.

Andrea and Jace, two souls who collide in Central Park, bringing with them a connection that defies all logic. We're talking about Andrea, born into wealth and deception, and Jace, a musical genius from the Bronx who's seen his fair share of heartbreak. Their love story defies circumstances, and as life throws curveballs at them, their bond is put to the ultimate test. It's an emotional ride that spans years, full of love, betrayal, and second chances.

The protagonists are like characters that step off the page and become your friends. Andrea's Upper East Side facade crumbles when she meets Jace, the guy who finally sees her for who she truly is. Jace, with his musical magic and a history of loss, ignites a spark in Andrea's life. Their journey is an emotional rollercoaster that will tug at your heartstrings and keep you invested from start to finish.

Sarah Ready has a knack for making you feel every emotion, and this book is no exception. With the story divided into three parts, you'll laugh, cry, and cheer for the couple as they navigate the highs and lows of their relationship. It's a beautifully paced story that keeps you hooked, making you emotionally attached to every twist and turn.

Love, resilience, and redemption are at the heart of this story. The unique aspect of exploring the moments when Andrea and Jace are apart adds a layer of authenticity to their relationship. Their growth as individuals and their journey back to each other are the soul of the story, proving that love can conquer even the toughest challenges.

This is one of those books you'll want to keep on your shelf forever. It's not just a love story; it's a life story. It's about moments that make your heart soar and the ones that break it into a million pieces. If you're a sucker for romance, heartache, and second chances, grab this book as soon as possible. Be ready to laugh, cry, and be captivated by Andrea and Jace's extraordinary journey. Trust me, you won't regret it.

Thank you NetGalley, Sarah Ready, W.W. Crown and Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA) for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Wow, just wow. This book is everything and then some. This book perfectly protrude that true love always prevails. This book is written in three parts, one where they are 17, one where it's 5 years later, and then the last is 8 years after that.

In the first part you read about a boy (Jace) who is starting from nothing, playing his music where anyone will listen. He then gets tracked down by a group of guys that he goes to school with and they attempt to beat him up until someone (Andi) comes out of nowhere and stops them. They spend all night talking about who they are and what matters most to each other. You read about how Jace's parents showed him what true love looks like, how to fully love someone, and how to chase after your dreams. All within part one you get to see their friendship grow as well as their love for each other. You also get to see Jace's brothers fight their own demons while building their music careers. Then the worst happens, and you are left balling you eyes out for Jace and Andi.

Part two is all about Andi starting over and trying to figure out how to love again, not just herself but others as well. You see her start off as this cold and bitter woman, then by the end of this part she is this warm and forgiving person who teachers her daughter how to truly live. I will admit this part got me tearing up a few times with the multiple deaths. They way it was written and the events leading up to them had my own heart breaking.

Part three you read about Andi and Jace seeing each other again. They both realize that they never have nor will they stop loving each other. One thing I loved in this part was the way Claudia was with Jace and vice versa. They finally get their HEA.. Part three did a wonderful job of showing true love has no limits.
-----------
This book had my heart swooning, it makes the hopeless romantics wanting more. I ate this book up, from all of the love that was in the book, but also the heart break. It was hard reading about Andi growing up in a loveless home, not to mention the time reading about what Reid's father did to him. You really do see that money doesn't buy love and happiness. This book was very well written. It did start off slow at the beginning, but it was needed so we got to see how all of the characters developed in the years to come. This is probably one of the first time I'll say there is nothing id change in the book.

Check trigger warnings prior to reading as this book mentions drug overdose, parental abuse, cancer, death/accidental death, and mental heath issue.

Thank you NetGalley and W.W Crown/Independent Book Publishers Association for the ARC, this is my honest thoughts of the book.

I absolutely adored reading this book! It was angsty, romantic and such a page turner! The story is about a rich girl in disguise falling in love with a musician from a tough neighborhood and must I say did it give the troupe justice! Jace and Andy meet and they're sure they're meant to be but time and situations keeps pulling them apart (there's several time skips and in the final time skip we find the ending we were all waiting for!). It was sweet, surprisingly softer and a better read than I expected for a YA romance and I like the fact there were plot twists that had me in my emotions! Beautifully executed!
