I really enjoyed Abby's book, the first in this series. and I have been looking forward to Cait's book ever since. Cait has really been through a lot in her life. She had a tough childhood and it didn't get much better when she grew up. I am so glad that she eventually found Tank and made so many trusted friends on the Cape. Cait is one of those people you want to just help and hug at the same time! I can see why Brant is so instantly attracted to Cait.

Brant Remmington is confident, sexy and probably one of the nicest people. Brant s patient and at times super cheesy. I really liked Brant. There's something about him that makes him so easy to be around and open up to. He's just so open and non-judgemental.

I enjoyed catching up with Abby and Aiden as well as seeing all our other friends on Silver Island. I can't wait for more from these characters.

Melissa has weaved a very sweet and honest story that will really tug on your heartstrings.

Book 2 was way better than the first one. Cait and Brant were adorable together, and the pacing of things was far better in their story than that of Abby and Aiden. Looking forward to Book 3.

Maybe We Should by Melissa Foster is another winner in a long line of winning stories. Brant Remington is a local hometown guy that is smart, rugged, handsome, swoon-worthy, and every other fantastic adjective you can think of along with a heart of gold. He truly has led a charmed life and he does know/appreciate the life he has. Cait Weatherby is guarded and very cautious with her life choices. She has been through so much from such a young age. Cait is resilient and learning to navigate a new life with her new biological family. The story is heartfelt and so loving. Brant is so strong in his beliefs of their love that he will go to amazing lengths to prove to Cait that they are the real deal, a forever love. Will Brant be successful? Will Cait ever learn to trust her heart again? Weirdly Cait’s life is an exact 180 of mine. Cait is an amazing woman, will she find the strength to confront her demons? Absolutely love this story of love, resilience, and strength. You will not be disappointed in Brant and Cait. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. *****

This follows the journey of Cait and Brant. Cait is new to the Island on which Brant has spent his entire life. Cait was adopted as a baby, and recently learned about her birth mother and two half sisters. She has reconnected with them and now divides her time between the Island and the Cape where she has friends that are her family. Brant had instant attraction right away to Cait and has been trying to get close to her ever since, Cait has had experiences that have left her traumatized and slow to trust and has avidly avoided being alone with him since meeting him a few months ago.

Their story, despite the very heavy and deep topics brought up, was a lighthearted and sweet romance. Brant is definitely more of a Beta hero - he is charming, funny, patient and able to handle anything that Cait throws his way, but it was almost too much so and it seemed at times our only glimpses of him were in his feelings for and thoughts around Cait. Overall this is a very heartwarming story about finding yourself and your friends and family along the way. I'm now planning to go and read Tank's story(Cait's boss and best friend).

Thank you to Montlake and NetGalley for this Advance Reader Copy. I have voluntarily left an honest review.

Maybe We Should is the second book in the Silver Harbor series, and another hit for Melissa Foster. The book was paced perfectly, easy to read, and I was engaged from the beginning. It was a heart-warming story of sisterhood, family, friendship, healing, and romance. I fell in love with the small town of Silver Island and all the charming characters.
Cait Weatherby had been adopted as a child and had always wondered about her family. When she is notified she has been left an inheritance from her biological mother, she discovers she has two half-sisters. Cait is surprised by the welcome she receives in Silver Island and its tight-knit community. She has a lot to figure out and does not need the complication of a relationship with the charming Brant Remington. Brant Remington is the opposite of Cait; where she is guarded and quiet, he is outgoing and good-humored. He sees the real Cait and understands he will need to slowly build her trust in him. Can Cait overcome her fears and let Brant in?
I really enjoyed this book and loved revisiting the characters from previous books and series. I look forward to future books from the small town of Silver Island.
I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I adored Cait and Brant's story. I hate what Cait had to go through, but she was such a strong female lead and was able to get through it. Brant was swoon worthy because of how patient, kind, supportive, and generally wonderful he was. Their connection was palpable from the beginning and I love that Brant was persistent while still being able to respect Cait's boundaries. This was a very well written story and it was wonderful.

Family means different things to different people. Some feel warmth, love and hope and others feel hate, disrespect and fear. Unfortunately the worse side of it is all Cait has in her background. So when Brant finally breaks down some of her walls will she just erect others to keep her heart from being hurt once again. Or will he give her strength to overcome and face the demons in her past? This book was a roller coaster of emotions that only became deeper with every turn of the page. With beautifully written characters and an honest and true portrayal of both versions of family this was a fantastic read. I cannot wait for more in this series.

I really enjoyed Cait and Brant's story.

It was beautiful, tragic, surprising, and just plain fantastic.

Their connection was obvious in the previous book, and despite Cait's hesitations (due to her past) I'm super glad she took a chance with the dimple wearing charmer.

Add adorable Scrappy to the mix? Done. Gone. I love when animals unite people - it tugs on my heartstrings as nothing else can.

Aaron and Savannah did a fabulous job with the narration.

Cait Weatherby is finding herself and her place in the world. After dealing with so much after the loss of her adoptive mother and an abusive father she's finally in a good place. She's found her sisters and is trying to make her worlds mesh. Now she has to decide how much of a leap she's willing to take. Love and family never seemed in the cards for her, but now change has brought so many opportunities.
Brandt Remington is easygoing and knows what he wants, and he wants Cait. From the moment he met her he was inexplicably drawn to her. He didn't know the demons that kept her apart from everyone even when she was surrounded by friends and family. He doesn't to let her go, he's willing to go at her pace andhelp her slay her dragons. Because family is everything and he wants to be hers.

The fact that I liked this book as much as I did makes no sense to me. Last summer I binged so many Melissa Foster books, and while I did enjoy them enough (some more than others) I wasn't wowed. Cait was a character I was interested from the previous book, so I figured I would enjoy her story but I wasn't expecting to be sold right away. There were some really over the top and cheesy parts, and this book follows what I've come to realize is the authors typical style. You will meet about a million characters who either have already had books about them or who your "meeting" for future books. This book is also pretty instalovey, but it didn't bother me so much. I loved Cait as a herione. I loved seeing her work through her past trauma and not only fall in love with Brant, but also accepting love from her sisters and her new community. I really liked Brant. I love that he was all in for Cait from day one and just wanted to be with her. And I loved his big family. I would say that even though this book deals with some big issues it is pretty low angst. It was the quick, steamy book I wanted and had more heart and emotion than I expected. Of course I will be reading Deirdra story when it comes out to finish up the series.
