My least favorite of the initial Dawn of X series.

expands the world of Dawn of X,, works nicely alongside the other stories for providing a lot of unfiltered action, but light on emotional punch

The more I've read, the more I've loved this book. The action, which is the main selling point of this book, is executed so well, that it's hard to put it down. Besides the main X-Men book, this is by far the strongest Dawn of X book.

Great read! Quite possibly my favorite book of the Krakoan era of the X-Men (although possibly tied with HOXPOX). Love the team. I really like the idea of a mutant special ops unit. Can’t wait to read more.

War crimes!!!!

The art in x-force goes crazy im in love

The first couple issues are setting up the status quo. Once that quo becomes status, this series really kicks off. A lot of potential exploration in the idea of nation building and the “necessity” and unintended consequences of defending such a state, no matter the cost. For the “dark”, black ops premise, this is also one of the more fun DoX stories.

X-Force as a concept of deniable operations works much better when they work for a nation. The actions actually are acknowledged as immoral and I suspect they will come back to haunt them.
