This book switches between the POV of Holden and Lily as they meet and fall in love. The instant attraction between Holden and Lily at the beginning of the book was so unrealistic that I thought of putting the book down. I'm happy I didn't, because that ended up being explained toward the end of the book. Mia Sheridan keeps the underlying theme a mystery throughout most of the book, leading the reader to believe it could be addiction, paranormal, mental illness, etc. This is the first Mia Sheridan book I've read hat wasn't at least somewhat predictable, and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

No. Just, no. The beginning of the book I actually liked. Then, it got a little weird. Then, it got annoying (I detest the whole "I love you but we can't be together because you deserve someone better" romance trope). And then it got so weird that I can't help but strongly dislike it. I don't want to spoil the plot but let's just say I do not recommend this book. This author is so hit-or-miss for me. Wow, just wow! This is not your regular kind of book, the ending leaves you thinking. I highly suggest joining the discussion group on fb, it will clear a lot of things up.
This is the first I have read by this author and is a standalone. I was instantly captivated by the author's writing and way to pull me into the story line. She has a way of wording things so everyone could interpret this story in multiple ways. The characters are well defined and likable. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed with the ending but still mind blown. I cannot deny it was a very unique novel, especially if you are looking for something different.

This book was woah. Like I was just going alone with the story and then things changed real fast and I had to think back and comprehend what just happened. Mia Sheridan wrote this out really well. I would recommend her story telling.
