Speak by Ruby Darling is a dark why choose romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Heather Firth and Joe Arden. This is the first book in the Rayne-Moore University duet.
This is the first book of Ruby's that I have read, and it definitely won't be my last. I was pulled in from the first chapter and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I am loving the chemistry between Raven, Damon, Jonas, and Maverick. I can't wait to see how everything will play out in their relationship. I really enjoyed getting Raven, Damon, Jonas, Maverick, Chase, and Tyler's points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.
The book ended on a great cliffhanger that left me begging for more. I can't wait for the next book in the series Stutter to be released on audio.

So my mind was completely blown away by Speak, it was dark like really dark and also incredibly spicy. When I saw this book was a secret society, why choose, forbidden romance and that Joe Arden and Heather Firth were narrating, I was squealing. Jonas, Damon and Maverick were utterly obsessed with Raven and she with them. The forbidden relationships between Damon (doctor/therapist) and Raven(patient) and also Maverick(professor) and Raven( student). So much yum. Jonas is the perfect unhinged football playing golden retriever that Raven needed. This book is an absolute mind f*ck, and it was exactly what my dark heart needed. The book is amazing but the audio book narrators brought it to a whole other level. 5 starts, I’d give it a million if I could.
Okay I'm going to need to see some more hype about this book, because WOW. The mystery, the revenge, the spice = 10/10! I love all of these characters so much! And I was shocked at some of the plot twists! While this does end on a cliffhanger, I cannot wait to read the next book because this one had me in a chokehold!
