Very complex characters given that each one really only gets 1 chapter. I loved how all the stories start weaving together. It’s a pretty lighthearted read (with some moments of serious and emotional) so it was a quick read.

I really enjoyed Girl, Woman, Other. Each character’s story drew me in, which surprised me a bit given that you hear from more than 10 characters. However, the length and number of characters did make the tying together of narratives more confusing than satisfactory. I found myself flipping back and forth keeping track of names.
The weaving of the tale of women in Britain is brilliant. Keep track of their relationship as you go. Excellent.
