I went into this expecting it to be unhinged but the second half of the book was completely off the rails. Who knows, maybe that's the intended experience. While I didn't hate reading it, I don't think I could recommend it.

The first half of the book, if you're aware that the author is making a social commentary on parasocial relationships, is actually interesting. It has a dark, cynical, almost humorous edge, in an ironic way. The second half starts to jump around a bit, and though I understood some of the metaphors, many were lost on me and jumbled. There also wasn't as strong of a conclusion as I would have liked. However, I don't think this was nearly as bad as some reviews say it is, as long as you take it from a metaphorical standpoint. If you've read and enjoyed Bunny by Mona Away, the vibes are very similar.
she’s crazy and mentally ill but we love her anyways
I think this book suffers from poor marketing. Come in with an open mind and not expecting to sympathise with anyone or see any commentary on k-pop/fandom and it's a good time
