I enjoyed the multiple POV’s and the dual timelines, but it felt like the story was incomplete. There were too many time jumps in the “Then” POV and it didn’t help explain how Kate got so entrenched with the cult. I actually wanted more information on the cult and its leader. It felt, at times, that the story should have been 2 different books. The ending wasn’t very satisfying either and it wrapped too quickly. I like this author, but this wasn’t my favorite book of hers.
