The premise is great, and the story is okay, but there’s a twist at the end that I’m not sure I can believe. The main character is a bit annoying, but it grows on you, I suppose, and I am glad to see that she does develop over the course over the story. Not a great book, not a terrible book. 3.5 stars.

Struggled through the beginning of this. The main character, Quincy, drove me insane. Has the survival instincts of a sloth. Last third of the book finally caught fire and made it worth finishing.

I’m a big Sager fan and was drawn into the plot of this title. I think my expectations may have been too high, but I did enjoy the big twist at the end. It took too long for the ending to develop and there were a few random happenings that threw me off. Overall, a solid read.

so i checked this out as an audiobook mistakenly thinking it was “final girl support group.” i found myself at the gym with no internet connection and this was the only thing downloaded to my phone i had to listen to so i endured the first couple of chapters. the way this is written made me laugh out loud over the sheer cringe of it all. this is the type of contemporary fiction i avoid.
Great read. Dark and twisted. Can be frustrating at times when you want the main character to just get with it, but it won't slow you down. Twists weren't too far out there, and weren't obvious enough that you see them all coming.
