As Riley is new, took some time to relate to other friends from the series.... Nice one.... Portrayed as very understanding, patient, and lovable.... For the series, no talking shit Dylan, who is entirely different with Riley ;)

I got worried halfway through that I wouldn't end up liking it, and even though it didn't end up being one of my favs, I still enjoyed reading it

This review was originally posted on Bookish Things & MoreI fell in love with this book. The hardships the characters go through completely break my heart. But I love the friendships Jake and Mikayla have. And I think Jake’s friends are amazing in the way that they form a support for Mikayla.

I can’t even imagine going through what they go through. Both try to be so strong for each other, and sometimes you have to take a step back to appreciate what’s right in front of you.

So much love for this book.

This review was originally posted on Bookish Things & MoreThis book broke me. Luckily I was warned to have all the tissues. I can’t imagine going through anything that these characters have gone through. Things can happen in life that makes existing so much harder than anyone could imagine.

I loved seeing Dylan actually talk. Up until now, he’s been the broody silent one. But he has a sense of humor, and actually talks quite a bit when he has something to say.

I don’t want to say too much or I feel like I would give everything away. But I did enjoy the steady build up of the romance. It may seem fast at times, but it’s weeks and months in the making.

We get more Operation Mayhems in this book than the others combined. And the stunts are hilarious! Glitter definitely makes everything better!

What I took away from this book is that tragedy doesn’t have to define us. Even though it can break us to our worst moments, how we move on from that and make our mark in the world is how we will be remembered.

It was nice to finally read Dylan's story. Jay did a very good job at character development. Logan is still my favorite "More Man." But Dylan is pretty impressive as well. I actually really enjoyed Jake's part in this book as well. The camaraderie among the female characters was such a nice change as well. It seems so often that girls are at each other's throats, and Jay totally bashes that in this book.

Good read. It was super angsty but there was a great love story as well. I really liked how each character kind of worked out their own problems. They were semi-codependent but also had love from others to get through their issues.

I wanted to really like this one since I've devoured the rest of the series. I didn't mind Riley at all but parts just didn't seem to work with me.

That scene where Riley gets pulled over and has an open bottle of wine and Dylan comes to "rescue" her pulled at my heartstring. Not many books can do what they scene did.

Tears. Heartbreak. Emotion.

I cannot believe this series is over (still praying for more from the spinoff series) But this end was kind of perfect. There's so much I could probably say about this series as a whole, but I have gushed in all my reviews about what an amazing author Jay is and how she twists people into knots. She did it again.
