The idea behind this story was great, but it ultimately didn’t completely work for me. It just got a bit confusing towards the end and jumped through time a lot, sometimes with too much detail and sometimes with not enough. The big reveal at the end was kind of disappointing and didn’t really solve the mystery posed at the beginning. I wished the dolls had been utilized differently also. I think the book just tried to do too much.
The ending was pretty bad, can’t lie, but I really really enjoyed the rest!
