GAHHHHH this book. I have read my fair share of cowboy, small town, city girl meets country boy romances… but never one that was so deep. Layla & Wells’ story is romantic and beautiful like many others, yes. But this book is just so much more than that on such a deeper level. Check your TW because this one covers some heavy topics.

I didn’t think I would love this book as much as I did! Such a good read but my only criticism will that in my opinion took a lot from the story was sooo much back and forth between the past and the present that I ended up skimming through a lot if it - I just couldn’t stand Jason - and it took away some emotion or excitement from Wells.
