The way the last few chapters had me sobbing. Sad tears, happy tears, I don’t want this story to end tears… And I really didn’t. 

I can’t believe it took me so long to read this book. To read an F.T. Lukens book in general. It’s sheer perfection. Comforting and funny and sweet, and just cries amazing. I knew I would love it when I read the first sentence. Arek is a great protagonist, and his party/friend group is so wonderful. I adore them. Especially Matt. He’s such a sweetheart, and I love his playful banter with Arek, and, of course, how things develop between the two of them.

It was so clear to me that Matt already had feelings for Arek. F.T. did a great job showing this.

 

I stayed up so late for a few days because I couldn’t stop reading it. Even during the day, when I was doing other things, I wished I was reading. And now that I’ve finished the book, I honestly can’t wait to read it again 🥹 or watch it. It deserves a movie adaptation 🕯️

Arek, Matt, and co, I’ll miss you <3
