I was so excited to see a new series by Macomber; she is one of my favorite authors. This first book in her new series was a breath of fresh air during this hot humid summer.
The series is set in Cedar Cove but the characters are new. Jo Marie Rose has moved there upon the death of her husband after purchasing a Bed & Breakfast. Story lines were developed around two guests that checked into the B&B. They were heartwarming stories of families and relationships. I especially liked that the ending made it clear that this is a series and I can look forward to more books in the series.

I was lucky enough to receive this as an Early Review from LibraryThing and I'm so glad I did. I've read many Debbie Macomber books including a few of the Cedar Cove series. I quit reading the Cedar Cove series after book 6 because it started to wear a little thin and seemed to be getting dull and unoriginal. This book however was a nice, refreshing, original take on Cedar Cove with a little hint of some familiar faces. Never before have I felt so emotionally attached to Debbie Macomber's characters. This book was a light, easy read with some characters that will leave you wanting for more.
If you've never read Debbie Macomber before then this is a great start and if you're a devoted fan, then this book proves that she's only getting better the more she writes.
I love this new series I started reading by Debbie Macomber. I look forward to reading the next book in the series. I enjoy how she uses characters from her other books and adds new ones.
I REALLY enjoyed this book. I love my introduction into Cedar Cove.
Will definitely continue this series.
Will definitely continue this series.
I read all of the Cedar Cove Books and was glad to see this new series. It is nice to read a books that is a love story but with out all the sex. It is nice to have the new characters with some of the old ones thrown in. As anyone has seen my ratings they will notice that this has gotten one of the best that I usually give. Five stars are hard to come by with me but this a great book.

I love this series. This is a re read, but I love being back in Cedar Cove with Jo Marie.
Nice, sweet, simple start to a Cedar Cove sequel.
This was a solid, light, optimistic read. I love the idea of a series in which the main character runs a B&B, and the learns about the stories of the guests. I enjoyed the beginning of this book, and Debbie Macomber always delivers when you want to read something that hits the spot when you're craving something Lifetime-esque with an HEA. That said, the reason that I rated this book 2 stars (which isn't necessarily bad!) is that it just wasn't my cup of tea. About 1/3 to 1/2 of the way through, it started to drag for me, perhaps because the beginning sufficed to give me a respite from dark books, and I became impatient with some of the cheesiness and references to God helping out.
