Mostly very satisfying conclusion to the series.

Still witty, fun, and action filled but as it got more sappy, nobody actually gets hooked up with anybody! Beetle ends up alone, Jenna, Nicko, Sam, Wolf Boy, Marcia, Septimus and rose "spend time together" but nothing more. On top of that, it sounds like there are more books yet to come, which just makes it like Twilight, Eragon, and all the other "trilogies" with more than three books.

Cute everything came together wholesome goodness

Loved this series.

This is the only book of the series that I struggled to get into. I also wasn't thrilled about the loose ends that seem to have been left for the sole purpose of dragging the reader into the new Magyk series promoted in the endings section. The 6th book was much more satisfying.
