A Questionable Client by Ilona Andrews is good. I like reading the Kate Daniels; it's one of my favorite series. There's not much more to it than that.
Even Hand by Jim Butcher is also good; it's Dresden Files.
The Beacon by Shannon K. Butcher was good, but a bit predictable.
Even a Rabbit will Bite by Rachel Caine is really good. I've read it before and it's very good.
Dark Lady by P.N.Elrod is a Jack Fleming story, and I love those too.
Beknighted by Deidre Knight might have been good the first time I read it, but that this point it's predictable.
Shifting Star by Vicki Pettersson was pretty good. I'm pretty sure I didn't like it last time but this time I liked it.
Rookwood & Mrs. King by Lilith Saintcrow was pretty good. I seem to like her stories better than her books, but it's been a while.
God's Creatures by Carrie Vaugh was good.

As with all short story collections, there were some great stories, some good stories and some that failed to grab me. Some ones I particularly enjoyed were "Even a Rabbit will Bite" by Rachel Caine and "Dark Lady" by P. N. Elrod.

The only thing I read was the Kate story by Ilona Andrews. It was good but I'd read it before.

A collection of urban fantasy short stories.

I enjoyed reading this thoroughly. Short story anthologies are usually pretty hit-or-miss for me, even if they're by one author, but this one was pretty solid. While I'm not going to follow up with every new author, there were no points at which I was regretting spending my time on it. The stories were consistent both thematically and in terms of writing quality, and even the "just okay" ones were still pretty good. I bought this book because I like Ilona Andrews's Kate Daniels series.

It's a little dated, but I would recommend this to fans of fantasy, and to new readers looking to break into urban fantasy or the vast world of fantasy in general.

A number of shorts stories. All were ok, some were quite good. I bought this originally because of the Jim Butcher short story, but found I really liked Even A Rabbit Will Bite by Rachel Caine. Benighted by Deidre Knight was also excellent.

I only read the story by [a:Ilona Andrews|21748|Ilona Andrews|http://photo.goodreads.com/authors/1219436898p2/21748.jpg]. It is a prequel to the Kate Daniels series. This is a story about her bodyguard gig with Saiman. It was a nice story. It was 45 pages , so not that long, but still an okay story.

I didn't read all the stories in this anthology, but for the most part enjoyed the ones I did read.

Even Hand by Jim Butcher- Set in the Dresden world, but a story from John Marcone's point of view. I really enjoyed this segue into a minor character- high marks.

The Beacon by Shannon Butcher- I quit reading this one half way through.

Even a Rabbit Will Bite by Rachel Caine- An odd little story, but very poignant. A solid 5 star for me.

Shifting Star by Vicki Pettersson- Another story featuring a minor character from a favorite series. This time it was Skamar from the Signs of the Zodiac series. Having read the latest a few months ago this story was especially touching.

Rookwood & Mrs King by Lilith Saintcrow- Not at all what I've come to expect from Saintcrow. I was very underwhelmed.

I skipped the stories by Andrews, Elrod, Knight and Vaughn.
