This was my first time reading anything from this author and I can definitely say that I will be reading more from her in the future. I think that is part of the reason that I am loving all things Cocky Hero Club because I am getting to discover new authors.

I was intrigued by this book because I wanted to see how it was going to tie together with the other story. I am surprised at how well it did. I saw the cameo experience showing how they knew each other but in addition to that, I also got to have a whole new world open up. Jude and Rachel were perfect for each other. I liked that even though this technically was an instant love situation according to the time, it didn't feel that way. Instead, I was treated to watching these two develop a friendship and build from there. The innuendos were there but there was also a connection.

The only reason that this didn't rank higher was that I wanted more of an explanation about Ethan and what brought Rachel to California. The meeting up seemed anticlimatic and didn't serve a purpose. I also wanted a little payback to the roommates. That being said, this still was an exceptional addition to this world. Highly recommend.

The Cocky Hero Club books are so much fun! I was thrilled to see Kacey Shea's addition to the series and could not wait to hear it. Jude has it all. All except for the love he is seeking. He wants a woman to be his equal, not one to want him for what he has. Luck should have it when Rachel breaks down on the side of the road. Now coming to her rescue, he may have found exactly who he is looking for. But will she feel the same? It's fun. It's flirty. And the banter between these two is priceless.Add in Walter the dog and it has everything! I love Shea's writing. It's an easy feel, yet the story always resonates with me. This one is so easy to relate to, wanting to believe what you have found isn't too good to be true. Jude and Rachel are perfect! With a flash at the 3 Ugly Boys band, Shea has integrates her Detour series, just solidifying my love for all things Kacey Shea!

Teddy Hamilton easily falls into the role of Jude. A little arrogant, a little flirty and a lot passionate, Hamilton brings Jude to life. At his side as Rachel, he has Felicity Munroe who I absolutely love. She portrays Rachel with such each. Some hesitation, some heartache and a lot of love, Munroe gives her all to make Rachel realistic. This is a fantastic narration team!

This was a slow burn for me. Jude was a playboy who hooked up with women in the past and comes across Rachel in her broken down car. She has an ex and doesn’t have a good record of trusting men. They end up becoming roommates and find themselves in a relationship. I loved the story.

lalalalalala - loving this series!

Dirty Dealer was a pretty interesting read. In it you will meet Jude and Rachel. He's the alpha protective type and she's just trying to make it out in the real world. They were kind of cute sometimes.. but the "roommates" that Rachel used to live with were the absolute worse. Oh lord, I despised them.

I did, however, really enjoy seeing Jude and Rachel get to one another a lot more. There was just something about them that just pulled me in. It didn't hurt that they were really cute and they had crazy chemistry either.

Definitely excited for my next book within this series.

Loved it! Couldn’t put it down and got mad when I had to! Loved Jude’s alpha personality and how it intertwined perfectly with Rae’s sass. First of the cocky hero series I’ve read and now I want to read them all!

I really enjoyed this story. The Characters Jude and Rachel were endearing, they had a back and forth kind of vibe going. Rachel is a proud, stubborn, hardworking young woman who just can't seem to catch a break. She meets Jude in the oddest place. he comes to her rescue on the side of the road. He continues to come to her rescue even when she doesn't want him too.

She helps him to see what he has been missing in life and in love. They get along really well, they spend time getting to know each other. Their relationship progresses really nicely, not too rushed. They have just enough heat to make you squirm a bit. I would definitely recommend this book. I really enjoyed reading this latest book from Kacey.

I went into this without any expectations but dang, was this a nice surprise! Super duper slow burn (not usually my thing) but the story was so delightful that I didn't even mind. Definitely looking forward to reading more from this author.

I really enjoyed this story!

It’s got little twists of the Cocky Bastard world and little twists of her Three Ugly guys world.

It starts off with a unique meet cute and a different twist on a relationship!

Narrators were great! Teddy is always amazing. He is superb at his craft.

Felicity Munroe is new to me. She is great though! She has a soft wispy voice but isn’t afraid to give it gumption when the characters call for it!

********SPOILER*********

The end was great also! They both messed up in the typical misunderstanding but she is the one that does the groveling! ❤️❤️

I really enjoyed Dirty Dealer. Jude was a treat and I loved how he took care of Rachel. I love swoony heroes.
