I want to love this so, so, so badly, especially since the romance is done spectacularly. Not only does Eric have more personality, but also Ariel. Still, they shouldn't have crammed so much into 1 book, making it stuck with a lot of "telling" instead of "showing." The new characters threw me off initially, though they did grow on me eventually. This should have at least been a duology.

Did Disney forget to send this to an editor?

I really enjoyed the story but where was the editing? So many typos and it took me out of the story each time I came across one.
