WOW. That was an action packed book. I was stuck right there on the edge of my seat always wondering what was next. The plot twist at the end really made the story. I never truly could guess the ending of it ahead of time. I loved the mystery aspect and it was definitely a must read for spooky season!!

I guess I haven't read YA in a while. This book was not well written. The characters weren't compelling and the suspect list was too short. The red herring was too obvious. Did it remind anyone else of that movie "I still know what you did last summer"?

I got this book last year when Barnes & Noble was promoting buy something at their Starbucks and get the book for $5.00. This book has me guessing until the very end! So good! I will definitely be looking for this author’s other books!
I loved everything about this book. It's a short read full of twists and turns!
It was alright I suppose. While the internalized victim-blaming is an intensely real thing, at times it felt unnecessary and dragged out. The premise of a deal scavenger hunt seems like a great idea! But paired with the “threat” of reporting someone who accidentally killed their abuser out of self defense? In poor taste. The side characters also seemed to change their morals towards the end of the book, and did anyone else notice that editor’s not on page 305???
This book was just not for me. It was very cringey and went on about how the main character was such a big mystery fan but then it took some side character to figure out what was going on. Absolutely not.
