his was a brilliant three-way pirate romance, and I absolutely loved the main character, BennettThe story begins with her intense hatred for her husband, Priest, after discovering his affair. Yet, despite her anger and desire to punish him, she still chooses to have sexual relations with him when they unexpectedly cross paths again. This complex mix of resentment and attraction made her character incredibly compelling.

Then we meet Ashley, who becomes Bennett captor, and she, his captive. Ashley’s harsh treatment of Bennett was shocking at first, but it soon became clear that it was ultimately for her own protection. From the moment Ashley appears, it’s obvious he is the person Priest cheated with, which adds a fascinating layer of complexity when Bennett and Ashley begin an affair. When the three of them reunite, everything comes together beautifully. Priest and Ashley love each other, and Bennett loves them both, creating a unique and passionate dynamic.

The only aspect that could have made this book even better was the focus of the sex scenes. I went into the story expecting a threesome romance, and while it did deliver, the intimate scenes were mostly one-on-one until the last 100 pages. It was a bit disappointing because when all three characters were involved together, the scenes were far hotter and more exciting. I would have loved to see more of that earlier in the book.

Overall, this was a captivating and emotionally charged romance with great characters and a thrilling pirate backdrop.
