I like that Sorinda is so different from Alosa. Both are kick ass ladies but Alosa is more pirate and Sorinda is all assassin. At times I found Sor's decisions annoying but I learned to love her by the end. Her being so guarded and insisting on always doing things by herself made me want to scream. Her character development was written very well. It made me so proud of her.

Kearan, is such a flawed mmc and I LOVE that he isn't this gorgeous creature so many are. On of the biggest character developement was him in the last book. I loved that he went from this big drunk, passed out guy to a strong character who cracked me up.

This has losts of twists and turns. The romance felt like nothing until about 70% of the book and BAM.
