I put off reading this because I don’t typically like spin-offs. I was prepared to not like it and I was shocked at how good it was! I could have used a little more banter with the love interest but I loved it.

This book didn't catch my attention the way Alosa's story did. It wasn't bad at all, but it was a slower read for me. The story was interesting, but there were definitely aspects that threw me with both Alosa and Sorinda. It's a solid read, and only 1/4 of a star lower than the previous 2.
