This was such a stunning book from beginning to end. I felt so in awe the entire time reading this book because the writing and storytelling was just immaculate. Laini Taylor was able to craft such a beautiful, unique world with characters that you can’t help but fall in love with. The romance in this book was so sweet and tender that even though it happened quickly, it felt so right for these characters to fall in love. Reading this book truly felt like walking through a dream and it was the epitome of escapism. I honestly find no faults in this book and I am so excited to read the next one as I have heard people say that it’s even better than the first!!

Awesome book, complete with dead gods, forgotten cities, dreamscapes, alchemists -great characters (even if a bit too black and white for my tastes) and a great plot make for a very light and fun read.
