Lots of reviewers didn't like this book. However, I think that's due to them not realizing this is, in fact, written for children. Not adults. I had my nine year old niece in mind when I was reading this and I think it was written so that she could understand it. I do think Bruno was much too naive considering his surroundings, but many children are. I would recommend this as long as you are aware the author isn't targeting adults.

I have no words. Somehow, seeing this horrible point in history through the innocent eyes of a child who can't comprehend what's going on makes this story more devastating to read.

Written from the perspective of a 9 year old Nazi commander's son living in a house on other side of the fence to Auschwitz. Very cleverly and heart-wrenchingly written using the power of youth and a different angle to classic wartime literature.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | El niño con el pijama de rayas

Que puedo decir de este libro que no se haya dicho, me parece una lectura obligatoria. Te enseña la inocencia de los niños y lo malo que pueden llegar a ser los seres humanos. Se narra con mucha sensibilidad desde la perspectiva del niño protagonista, una lectura muy fácil por la narración pero más complicada por la historia.

✔️recomendado para todos, hay que leer este libro sí o sí!
