I dunno man. I want to give this book 5 stars but it just does not deserve it.
he never took his time to process what Shmuel was telling him and he thought his friend was to skinny and looked rather unhealthy, but still he had no problem eating the food he wanted to give shmuel
furthermore his sister did not read like a 12year old, she seemed more like 9 than 12years old
I really appreciatethe message this book is trying to bring across, that’s why I am giving it a fine rating, but the rest itself was not that good

I read Night in school so I never read this one or saw the movie and wow I wasn’t expecting it. It’s unique in that it comes from a child’s perspective that is reliant on friendship and fun. It takes such a dramatic turn at the end. And I was not prepared. The last two sentences packed such a punch: “ Of course all this happened a long time ago and nothing like that could ever happen again. Not in this day and age.”
