I could write about how I didn't connect with the story or characters or how, in a very GOT style way every female character was paper thin and having a horrible time for no reason.  I could write about how rape is used immediately and consistently for shock factor with no real substance or reason, or how it's full of all the most annoying fantasy tropes out there.

But honestly, and very fittingly...
It was the term "Wetboy" that killed me off

I'm leaving myself room to increase the ratings as the series wears on. This isn't a perfect fantasy book. It was lacking in areas. But overall I was intrigued by the story and I want to know what's going to happen. It kept me moderately entertained for a week or however long I was reading it, so I'll call it a success.
