I would give this book 3.5 stars. You could easily find articles like these on Thought Catalog...which I didn't realize when I purchased this book (TikTok find). The other reason why I gave it 3.5 stars...a lot of things were quite repetitive throughout the book which was off-putting. Aside from that, it was nice to be able to start/stop as needed.

Loving the short essays in this book some of them are pretty well written and empowering to read.

Super repetitive and dare I say…basic. Seems like every self help book boiled down into one.

I really don’t think self help is for me. Actually I know it’s not. I just feels like it’s an annoying know it all mansplaining at me. I was gonna try again but Libby pulled it before I felt inclined to.

Really enjoyed! I think I read at the best time for me. I found a lot of the essays to be really beneficial.

A real mixed bag. Some chapters/essays had some nuggets of wisdom but some were often contradictory and not very useful. Well read by the narrator, however.
