I wish that I had this in my hand. I need to re-read and highlight all over this book.

The title of this set the bar high...which made the letdown that much worse.
It was complete almost entirely dross...the tiny bits of wisdom scattered throughout were not worth the mind-numbing effect of the vast majority of it.
I rarely get so annoyed with a book but this one set me off. I think in part because it thinks so highly of itself and its "insights".
I also think some of it would be legitimately harmful for some readers. Anyone who's default is to blame themselves for things other people do to them should not read this. Anyone who is neurodiverse should not read this. The negative impact to a person's psyche could be material and it's absolutely not worth it.

Some really good tips in here for not only people in their 20s but every age. Though it’s good advice to get you to start thinking about things a certain way, I feel like a majority of them are lessons you can only truly learn through experience as you mature, so younger people might think it’s just a lot of fluff while older people think it’s common sense at their age.

The latter half of the essays started to be repetitive so I would have liked everything edited down a bit to maybe “50 things” lol and just make them more succinct. Felt a little like she was trying to stretch it just to get the 101 title.
